Travels with Trinity: Thailand

It’s been a while since I’ve posted here. I’ve always got an excuse…but honestly, it just hasn’t been a priority. I’ve spent the past 2+ months traveling Thailand, Cambodia, Indonesia, and now Vietnam with my daughter Trinity. We’ve had an amazing experience so far.

She has re-invigorated my passion for photography and we’ve explored some quite unique places that are well beyond the typical ‘tourist track’. Some of which are places that I would never venture alone. It’nice having a travel companion that shares some of the same interests and gets just as excited as I do about the little things.

Let’s start with Thailand!!

I think I left a part of myself in Thailand and we’re returning in March! I’m so excited. It’s a place that felt comfortable for me, a place that I feel I could spend longer amounts of time and I’m looking forward to returning. Some of the highlights of Thailand:

Elephant Jungle Sanctuary
I would love to go back and volunteer here for a week or two. These huge animals are so gentle and curious. It was an amazing experience to be in the mud with them; bathing them and watching them interact with each other. More Photos HERE

Exploring the numerous Markets
Local Markets have always held a special allure for me. Thailands Markets didn’t disappoint! More Photos HERE

Loy Krathong Lantern Festival
This was an experience that I’ll never forget. Watching the lanterns float away in the sky and the variety of locals, tourists, young and old sharing in the annual experience was calming in the midst of pure and total chaos. More Photos HERE
