I’ve traveled both the US and Internationally for the past 15 years. During this time, I always wanted to share my love of travels with Dad. There was always a reason for this to be pushed back and not happen….
Now is the time!!
Last summer, while I was home visiting my Dad rolled up in a vintage Shasta trailer that he had just purchased!! 
He told me that he wanted to take a trip around the US and to be honest, I really didn’t believe him. Even after he brought home what I like to call ‘Little Blue’ I still didn’t really think Dad traveling would ever really happen. Over the winter, I began to realize that he was actually serious about this and better yet…he wanted ME to join him!!
The winter months were spend fixing up his old Falcon convertible which had been sitting un-used for who knows how many years (around 25, I’m told). A full check up and repair on all of the systems took place and the ‘Falcon’ is ready to roll with ‘Little Blue’ tagging along behind.
The Plan that isn’t a Plan
We really don’t have a set plan, except that we’ll be traveling West. Dad needs to be in Colorado the first week of July, but other than that…the road is our map and we’re excited to follow the path that it marks. We’ll be leaving Indiana the first week of June 2016 with the crew (pictured below). I’ll be documenting the story as it unfolds so stay tuned!

Dad’s now ready to relax and enjoy life’s more simple pleasures of vintage motors, and old and new friends all with a glass of milk n’ brandy in hand.
Dan aka “Willow of Drumhollow’ our ‘Spiritual Advisor’ is a long-time 
friend and family member and Dad was able convince him to retire and hit the road. I’m excited to have Dan along for the adventure and as a recent experience determined, Dan is our road-warrior spiritual advisor. With a calm spirit and positive outlook I’m sure that Dan will be a much need source of calm when things get rocky.

A travel nurse and entrepreneur; I have been all over the place. With recent changes in the business end of things there is now time to experience things with new eyes and work on re-discovering both myself, my Dad and life.
